On Tuesday the 20th of August 2019 ,
I just finished packing my clothes and I felt so worried because this would be my first time going away from my family for 4 days.
Some of the students from Te Waka Ako arrived at school at 7:30. By the time 8:15 we went on the bus. Thank you to Michael and Ben for driving us threw all the trips we had. We first went Hamilton Gardens for the scavenger hunt. We went off in our coloured groups, I was in the pink group and our leaders were Donald and Sofi. The next stop was at Otorohanga for our lunch then we got to visit the Ed Hillary Walkway we had to find information about all kinds of things. Then we went to Taumaranui School to play at the parks and have a break. The amazing part was about going to the crossing lodge because that was where we are going to be staying at.
We had bunkbeds and we found the movie room(Narnia room) in a closet - its was so cool, because we got to see all kinds of movies we got to watch. In my cabin there were 2 year five and 6 years 6's counting me in it I have Hepi, Mercedes, Cassie, Brooklyn, Aahana, Jia, Peitynn, Me. The food that we ate for breakfast and dinner was...
For Breakfast we had a choice of cereal or toast/ for dinner we had one the best foods of all times, there vegies and so much kinds of food we love.
Games- we had a very big ping pong table we would have a lot of fun playing ping pong. We had a pool table but we were not allowed to play on it because there were no stickes. We had game boards which was so much fun. We had a ot of fun with the parents and teachers. Thank you to the teacher you came with us on camp. Thank you to the parent that volunteered to come to our camp we hope you had a lot of fun.
To the year 3 and 4 students we wish you the best at camp in 2 years we hope you have a lot of fun there, you guys maybe have got the best weather there because when we went it was a bizzard. We had a great time, when you guys go we hope that everyone will be safe and have a great time trying to snowboard and ski all the way down the mountain.
